Emily Sunderlin is the Principal Designer and Founder of SEE Creative Interiors, LLC. She has a Bachelor of Science in Interior Design from University of Cincinnati’s prestigious DAAP program. While there, she worked across the country completing internships as part of the Professional Practice requirement and went above and beyond to study and earn college credits at both Ecole Speciale D’Architecture in Paris, France and Architettura de Alghero in Sardinia, Italy. She is an experienced professional Interior Designer who conceptualizes, develops, and implements solutions utilizing extensive knowledge and training in commercial, retail and residential design. She earned her National Certificate for Interior Design Qualification (NCIDQ) in 2018 and is an International Interior Design Association (IIDA) Professional member. She is a strong program and project management professional and comes from an entrepreneurial family. For over 25 years, her father owned a media distribution and logistics company focused around newspapers (remember those?) and her brothers run a prestigious automotive detailing service company.

Emily also is an adjunct professor at Sinclair Community College teaching future interior designers. Her favorite class to teach is IND Portfolio which is basically three classes in one: Professional Practice, Construction Documents, and Portfolio.

She was born and raised in Cincinnati, OH and currently resides with her husband and two sons in Dayton, OH. She and her husband trade off coaching their kids sports teams and accepts that her eldest is a die-hard Yankees fan. In case you are wondering, yes, she did marry an engineer (gasp!) who specializes in process improvement with a focus on statistical analysis. It’s ok though because he now knows the difference between french grey and warm grey.

I look forward to working with you!
